However, divers can explore deeper, 200 feet or more, but that involves special skills, specific technical and equipment.
The diver duration
The duration is determined by various conditions including the activity, breathing skills, diver’s technical, gas management and more factors.To prolong the dive, some techniques for conserving air are possible. Specialized divers, for example, can use mixed gasses, special gear and accessories. So, a long and deep diver requires specialized expertise. Diving certified courses can provide technical training to develop the knowledge and skills of divers and cavers.

Cenote, pronounced as “seh-no-tay” is from Maya word “ts’onot” or “d’zonot” converted into Spanish.It’s a flow of spring water localized in some geologic depressions.It’s a natural swimming pool formed by limestone, located in a cave or cavern and has different forms.
Is there a difference between a cave and cavern? Yes, a cave is a closed and thrilling cenote contrary of the cavern which is an open cave, exposed to the sky.
Some rules define a cavern diving: It’s always illuminated by sun light, so at night of course there’s no light. The maximum depth in an aerial zone should never surpass 30 meters (100 feet)…
Cenote have three different forms: cave cenote, open cenote and semi-open cenote.

Advices for dive beginners
As it’s the first scuba diving, there are many emotions like fear, excitement, nervosity, tension, and adrenalin … Swim calmly, without moving too much to keep energy and conserve air.It’s easier to dive in warm conditions. Having many emotions is normal, but it can be dangerous because if you are not calm you may lose energy and air.Before you go to dive, it’s better to do some deep breath and relaxing exercises like yoga or meditation which will help you to have breathing technical.The best is to swim with calm attitude to enjoy the fascinating adventure.Check your equipment, make sure that all the accessories are good. Protect your skin. The most harmful sun’s rays can damage it when you are exposed to the sun, so wear sunscreen. Don’t go for a dive when you don’t fill ok if you don’t want to have a bad experience for your first scuba. Start with an easy destination.
